The counter works well and is good value for money. It does everything it claims but you need to be able to work with its limitations. Coin loading hopper is large but the count is disrupted if you overfill the output containers. £1 and 50p containers are good for around £100 total. So if you need more you have to use the "batch mode" and empty the container when it reaches its batch total. This is a counter it is not a machine that sorts and rejects foreign coins. For that you need a banking level machine like the CS80 (£2,000). This machine will not separate new and old £1 coins they all go into the same output container. So after October 2017 you will need a manual sort of the £1 coins before loading into the input hopper. For us no big deal but be prepared.

Poor design for regular use. I am returning this after a couple of weeks use. We have to bag & bank lots of coins a couple of times a week and I quickly became very frustrated with the design of this counter and then the coin hopper release flap stopped working altogether so that was the last straw. Firstly every 2nd or 3rd bag of £2 coins had a 50p in it. This happened from day one and maybe wouldn't be so annoying for someone not counting in volume. Secondly the coins containers are very awkward to remove & replace quickly and smoothly as there is hardly any gap or leeway between the top of the machine and the container. I was always bumping and scraping and jiggling them to get them in place and remove them - once again not good if you are counting coins in bulk. Thirdly every now and then the new one pound coin container had coins stuck in the bottom when you emptied it that didn't come out because they happen to be the exact size to wedge against the raised section in the bottom of the container. So sometimes I wasn't aware it wasn't properly empty and then all the bags from that one ahead were incorrect. A good point is that when it did work it was much faster in sorting than my previous counters. If you are only counting a few coins everyone and then then these issues may not concern you.
